What is Genomics? Genomics is a multidisciplinary field that studies the structure, function, evolution, and mapping of the genetic material of an organism, as well as any techniques associated with this. Genomics plays a crucial role in medicine by enabling us to gain a comprehensive understanding of how genetic information can be utilized for the purpose of disease diagnosis, treatment, and management.
