What are Fundus Diseases? The fundus is the inside of the posterior portion of the eye, comprising the retina, macula, optic disc, fovea, and blood vessels. Fundus diseases are the disorders that affect these structures. Without timely detection and treatment of these diseases, permanent visual loss is possible.
