Recruitment Plan

The recruitment plan describes the process by which participants will be recruited for a study and how the study will reach its recruitment goal.

Considerations for the recruitment plan include defining the population of participants and evaluating the feasibility of sample size, protocol design and participant eligibility, using ethical methods for recruiting, creating backup materials for advertising, and identifying sources and alternate outreach channels.

The recruitment plan should also determine who will be performing the recruitment, evaluate the protocol design, and document metrics for evaluating recruitment.
