Hepatology

What is Hepatology? Hepatology is the branch of medicine devoted to researching, diagnosing, and managing diseases of the liver and biliary tree. It is practiced by hepatologists, a subset of gastroenterologists with specialized training in biliary diseases obtained after the completion of residency and fellowships.
