Dr. Robert A. Hauser, a man with glasses and a red mark on his forehead.

Director of the Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorder Center and a Professor of Neurology at the University of South Florida

Dr. Hauser is board certified in Neurology and has gained international recognition through his research on movement disorders. He has been awarded 40 research grants from multiple institutions, including The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research and the National Parkinson Foundation, and has been featured on the Castle Connolly Top Doctors list for over a decade.

In addition to being an established scientific advisor, Dr. Hauser has contributed to over 330 peer-reviewed publications and 213 multicenter clinical trials. He also has served as Past Chairman of the Interventional Neurology Section of the American Academy of Neurology, has served on the executive committee of the Parkinson Study Group, and was a member of the steering committee for the NIH-sponsored Neuroprotective Exploratory Trials in Parkinson’s Disease program (NET-PD). Currently, he serves on the editorial board of the Open Access Journal of Clinical Trials and Clinical Parkinsonism and Related Disorders.
